Following 9 ¾ incredible years in the West End, 2026 marks an exciting new era for HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD! The production is evolving to become a single part play from October, sharing its magic and wonder with more people than ever before.

The clock is ticking on the original two-part production, with final performances on 20th September but from 9th October, you can experience the magic of the reimagined show.

The critically acclaimed production received its world premiere in the West End in summer 2016 and remains the recipient of the most Olivier Awards for a West End play, scooping a record-breaking nine awards including Best New Play and Best Director in 2017.

What is Harry Potter and the Cursed Child One Part about?

Return to the Wizarding World. Discover where life takes Harry and his youngest son Albus, as father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places.

Running Time

This is one play presented in two parts, seen in order on the same day – matinee and evening.

Part 1 – 2 hours 40 minutes, including interval (subject to change) | Part 2 – 2 hours 35 minutes, including interval (subject to change).

Age Guidance

Harry Potter and the Cursed child One Part is recommended for ages 8+. All persons entering the theatre, regardless of age, must have a ticket, and children under 5 are not permitted. Babes-in-arms are not admitted to the auditorium. Please note that patrons under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult.

For all productions at Nimax Theatres, children aged 14 and below must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over and sat in seats next to each other.

£15-£25 tickets will have a restricted view. Please note that individual ticket prices are PER PART

On Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday matinee performances of Part One are at 14:00, with an evening performance of Part Two at 19:00. On Sunday there will be a matinee performance of Part One at 13:00 and an evening performance of Part Two at 18:00. One ticket will automatically secure you the same seat for both Part One and Part Two on the same day.
